It’s been exactly 1 year since I started working Chamblee location.
It’s crazy because it doesn’t feel like it’s been a whole year already.
It honestly feels like I just started working here a few months ago.. anyway I just wanted to say thank you to everyone who has sat in my chair, trusted and supported me since I started cutting here.
The love and support is unreal!
The Commodore has challenged me as a barber as well as pushing me out of
my comfort zone.
I will continue to strive, grow and learn every single day here.
Last year I had so many life changing events happen in my life so it was hard for me to adjust and be fully present.
Now with a year under my belt, I feel more settled in and focused more then ever!
with all that being said I can’t wait to see you behind the chair and see what this year brings! Much love - DRC

Had the pleasure on collabing on this piece
w/ the bro at the hair jam last night.
We wanted to build a triangle shape on the fringe but keeping it square on the apex.
So W***y started off by creating diagonal forward sections on the parietal ridge but we wanted to build and keep the weight on the sides so we slightly traveled the diagonal forward section down to almost a zero degrees. After that W***y created a horizontal mohawk section down the middle of the apex to created a guide line then took vertical section to create a square shape.
Once W***y established the shape I blowed dry it and started fading away I gave a low skin fade using my magic clips and balded him out using my foil shaver.
I gave him a low fade because it fits well with the silhouette of his head shape.
Then continued by adding a simple but effective design to give him edge and precision with my detailers then followed up by my straight razor, cleaned up Brian’s beard.
Then added texture powder to finish off the over all look and bring out that texture we wanted. Hope you guys enjoy!

New beginnings.

Starting January 10th I will be officially be cutting hair at The Commodore]
in the Chamblee location.

Excited for the new beginning
and phase of my career.
I can’t wait to rock out with the new team!

Also looking forward to servicing
new clients and hopefully current clients!

I promise to give you the best version of myself and provide you with the best experiences I’m capable of 💯 I also want to thank for continuing my education prior to starting here!
He is an outstanding educator.

As some of you may know my time at has almost come to an end. Starting in the beginning of
the new year I will be moving to a different shop.
(More info on that will come in a different post)

I just want to take the time out to make this appreciation post to anyone who has sat in my chair and trusted me as their Barber during my time here,
or if you brought your son(s) in,
let me cut your hair
for your wedding or prom etc!
You guys are the real MVPs! ❤️
Without y’all I wouldn’t have been able
to provide for my family, bills and simply just make a living.
I made special bonds and built relationships with my clients over the last couple of years.

I want to thank the City of Clarkesville and the community of Habersham for welcoming me with open arms!
Y’all showed me what it means to stand behind a small business especially during adversity times like the pandemic.

These last 2 and half years have been nothing but pleasurable, enjoyable and remarkable to say the least!

Also want to take the time out to thank for letting me be part of something special and treated me like family the whole time! You guys also made it an honor to work for a shop and feel appreciated!
I love you two! I mean we survived a pandemic together for crying out loud!
I’m sure this is only the beginning of great things to come to Pennylane!💈

I’m also surprisingly going to miss arguing with about how the Falcons are simply a much better team then the Eagles, regardless of us blowing
a Super Bowl and you guys actually having a
Super Bowl title! Lol.

It’s definitely bittersweet.. As much as I love it here My life has been shifting in a different direction lately. I will continue to cut hair just more further south!

This isn’t a Goodbye
