My in house oil infusions can hold up production by 4 to 6 weeks. I’ll never change that.

When you steep dried botanicals in oil, the oil draws out the fat-soluble compounds from the plant over time. Triterpenes, carotenoids, flavonoids, resins. The compounds that actually do something on your skin. You can’t rush that process and get the same result. Time is part of the mechanism.

As a pharmacist I think about botanical infusions the way I think about any preparation. Concentration, steep time, storage conditions, ingredient quality. Every variable affects what ends up in the formula and what ends up on your skin. That level of control is why I infuse in house. It’s the only way to know exactly what you’re working with.

Even as a one woman brand, that’s worth the wait.

Jamelia’s Hand Cream started with one person.
My friend Jamelia needed dedicated hand care. Real hydration, real barrier support, real results for hands that go through a lot every single day. So I formulated it specifically for her. Named it after her. And put it out into the world.
What I didn’t expect was how many people would find it and feel seen by it. Dry hands, sensitive skin, compromised barriers. This formula meets all of it.
Someone reached out recently to tell me that since being on Accutane, Jamelia’s Hand Cream is the only thing that calms the redness and peeling on their hands. That stopped me in my tracks.
