Recently, the Winter SPACES Preconstruction team visited one of our active projects at the Georgia World Congress Center to gain firsthand insight into project ex*****on and the complex problem-solving that takes place in the field every day.

Opportunities like these strengthen the connection between our preconstruction and operations teams, allowing us to share perspectives, discuss lessons learned, celebrate successes, and identify new ways to improve future projects. The evening was a celebration of the people, partnerships, and projects that make our work possible. We are grateful to be surrounded by teammates, clients, and industry partners who feel more like family and who continue to inspire excellence every day.

Winter Construction served as general contractor for the renovation of the Hilton Nashville Downtown, a AAA Four-Diamond hotel. The project included a full renovation of 330 guestrooms, upgrades to the lobby, lobby bar, breakfast area, and meeting spaces, and the addition of a new concierge lounge and fitness center. Exterior work also included a new energy-efficient atrium skylight, roof replacement, and façade repairs. We love seeing guests enjoy the refreshed spaces.

As temperatures continue to climb, planning ahead is one of the best ways to prevent heat-related illnesses on the jobsite.

This week, our Heat Illness Prevention campaign focuses on the importance of supervision, preparation, and monitoring heat conditions throughout the day. Effective heat safety programs include access to water, rest breaks, shade, acclimatization for new and returning workers, and trained personnel who can recognize and respond to heat-related hazards.

By staying proactive and looking out for one another, we can help keep every worker safe throughout the summer months.
