🚨 Space Snacks Staff Update 🚨

Negotiations between management and staff have officially hit a snag.

Everything was going smoothly until the crew discovered that The Molly Ringwalds is also playing at the Slidell Heritage Festival with Zebra

Current demands include:
🎵 Extended music breaks
🎵 Front-row access to the stage
🎵 A temporary suspension of all candy-related responsibilities during favorite songs
🎵 One employee has requested to be paid entirely in festival food

Management has declined to comment at this time.

Despite ongoing labor disputes, the Space Snacks crew will still be at the Slidell Heritage Festival on June 27 serving up freeze-dried snacks and trying to keep employees from abandoning the booth when the music starts.

If you see an unattended booth, please check the stage area first.

The sequins. The platform boots. The hairspray budget that probably rivaled our inventory budget.

For a brief moment, we considered replacing Space Snacks with a traveling glam rock band. Then we remembered none of us can play guitar, and our biggest groupie is probably mom.

A huge THANK YOU to everyone who stopped by our booth today. Whether you grabbed snacks, chatted with us, or just laughed at our questionable dance moves, we appreciate every one of you more than a rock star appreciates a fog machine.

Because of y'all, we get to keep bringing our weird little candy spaceship to events all over Louisiana. 🚀🍬

Management would like to report that several employees have allegedly threatened to walk off the job at the Slidell Heritage Festival...

Not because of low pay.
Not because of long hours.
Not because of difficult working conditions.

But because Zebra is playing and they want a front-row seat. 😂

We've informed them that "watching Zebra" is not currently listed as an approved break category, but negotiations are ongoing.
