April: Primary Immunodeficiency (PI) Awareness Month

April is designated as Primary Immunodeficiency Awareness Month, focusing on raising public awareness about more than 550 rare and chronic genetic disorders that affect the immune system.

The initiative seeks to encourage early diagnosis, as numerous patients experience significant delays in received care. Additionally, it aims to provide support to individuals living with these conditions, often emphasizing through, “Think Zebra” campaigns and World PI Week, which takes place from April 22-29.

# World Health Day: April 7th

April 7th is celebrated as World Health Day. This year's observance will highlight the vital contributions of nurses and midwives, the dedicated and tireless professionals who have transformed the healthcare landscape as we know it today.

We are eagerly anticipating the NHIA 2026 event this April in Denver, CO. The NHIA Expo provides dedicated hours throughout the conference for attendees to discover the latest products and services while fostering valuable connections.
