AMG Prime is an Amazon Delivery Service Partner looking for enthusiastic, team players to deliver Amazon packages. Delivery Associates strive to get every Amazon order to the customer’s door on-time
We are seeking self-motivated individuals for full-time and part-time positions as delivery driver associates at our Maple Grove, MN, location.
Being a team player is an absolute must. While you will spend most of your day alone in a van making deliveries, we still work as a team helping those that may fall behind.
Candidates must be able to work weekends and overtime as needed.
Each driver must value SAFETY first and foremost, as well as being customer service oriented.
General Job Requirements
• Minimum 21 years of age
• Valid MN Driver’s License
• Clean DMV record (last 3 years)
• Expected to undergo drug and alcohol testing (pre-employment and randomly)
• Legally able to work in the US (valid work permit acceptable)
• Available to work weekends and holiday shifts
• Work shifts are 4 days 7am until Finished with route up to 10+ hours
• 4 day-5 day option starting at 1:15pm until Finished with route up to 8+ hours Includes weekends.
• Starting pay is $18.50/Hour for weekdays and $19.00/Hour for weekends. DOT certified drivers will receive $20.00/Hour.
Job Description
Drivers will:
• Report to work on time for scheduled shifts
• Load pre-staged pre-sorted carts from Amazon into vehicle daily prior to each shift in under 15 minutes.
• Safely delivery Amazon packages to businesses and residences. This may require going up stairs and using a 2-wheeled dolly.
• Able to lift packages (up to 50 lbs.) and be able to get in and out of a van quickly throughout the day
• Drive high-roof vans around the Maple Grove and northern suburbs area, averaging 75-125 miles per day
• Enter and exit the vehicle 100-200+ times/day
• Deliver packages in ALL weather conditions
• Follow GPS to each delivery location using device provided
• Must be able to use a Smart Phone and self problem solve app and device issues
• Accurately scan and take a photo of package at time of delivery
• Customer and Amazon support contact is expected when package can not be delivered or need help with delivery.
• Maintain an efficient but steady pace making between 25-30 stop per hour. This job can be fast paced to keep up efficiency and organization are key in this position.
• Assist other drivers when asked by dispatch, plan to be at work for the full 8-10 hours.
• Fuel vans daily at the end of your shift (fuel cards are provided)
• An Amazon-branded uniform will be provided

Approximate hours are:

7am until Finished with route up to 10+ hours

1:15pm until Finished with route up to 8+ hours

Includes weekends.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Safely drive and operate your delivery vehicle at all times.
Use hand held device for routing information, customer delivery information.
Navigate a variety of routes throughout delivery area.
Must be comfortable driving and working in varying weather conditions. Load and unload packages to be delivered
Be CUSTOMER OBSESSED!! We strive to deliver packages and smiles to our customers.
Perform the following tasks, with or without reasonable accommodation:
Lift packages up to 50 lbs.
Able to get in and out of van and walk up and down stairs through your shift

Compensation & Benefits:

$18.00
$18.50 For weekends

Basic Requirements:

Eligible to work in the U.S
At least 21 years of age
Successfully pass a pre-employment drug test
Successfully pass a background and motor vehicle check
No more than 3 moving violations in the past 3 years
