Late posting but Max retired from quarter midget racing and received his Championship awards at the year-end banquet almost 2 weeks ago 🏁❤️

Max was recognized tonight at the DARF (Dayton Auto Race Fans) Banquet along with other racers and fellow quarter midget drivers. We appreciate the invitation.

Max secured Championships in both his World Formula and his Unrestricted cars this year! 🏁

Last race of the season. Last race of Max’s quarter midget career. Last podium pictures.

TODAY IS THE LAST TIME
Today is the last time we will load up the trailer with Max’s quarter midgets and head down the road hoping the drop down door is latched this time.
Today is the last time we will pack the cooler with all of the food we need to eat on racing day because Mike is too cheap to eat out.
Today is the last time we will pull into the track and wonder who will be there, wonder what our day will be like and wonder what time we will get to leave.
Today is the last time Max will draw a pill to determine his race order and the last time he will tape numbers on his cars.
Today is the last time Max will zip his race suit, put on his helmet and wiggle his way into his quarter midget cars.
Today is the last time that Mike will struggle to push Max off onto the track and will inevitably require a set of helping hands.
Today is the last time Max could win his races and the last time he will drive around Mac-O-Chee holding a checkered flag.
Today is the last time that Max will stand on the podium at the Bullring and accept an award for an awesome race.
Today is the last time we will put the cars on their pit carts and pull them back to our trailer after being released from Tech. one. last. time.
Today is the last time we will load the quarter midgets into the trailer at the track, strap them down and latch the trailer door and say goodbye. one. last. time.
It has been a ride. Goods. Bads. All the in betweens. We can’t begin to list and thank all of the people that helped to get us here, those that have encouraged Max when he had a bad day, those that didn’t think twice to lend a spare part in the middle of a race, those that gave advice, those that jumped in and took their own time to work on Max’s cars, those that took the time to come watch and support Max, and to friends we’ve made along the way, there are no words, thank you.
Today Max will retire from quarter midget racing. We aren’t quite sure what’s next yet for MD Racing but Max will find something I’m sure and we will be off to the races again 🏁❤️

Just made it home after another racing weekend! Max took the checkered in both of his classes once again today 🏁 Only two more races to go until this kid retires his quarter midget career!

Once again Max ran by himself today and gathered a 1st place trophy for Heavy World Formula, a first place trophy for Unrestricted Animal and trophies for both classes for qualifying. Max will be back at it again tomorrow 🏁❤️

Midnight and finally heading home! Max got his first place trophy in World Formula but a last minute Unrestricted Animal entry gave him a second place finish tonight.
