Experienced Tower Technicians

Front Range Wireless is a full service telecommunications construction company serving Colorado and the Rocky Mountain Region. We specialize in cell tower construction, maintenance and upgrades. We are looking for experienced and green Tower Technicians to join our team.

The ideal candidate will possess:

- Valid Driver License with clean MVR

- Experience with PIM and Sweep test gear procedures a plus

- Owns basic hand tools

- Current Safety certifications (OSHA, First Aid, Commtrain a plus)

- Excellent communication skills

- Basic computer knowledge (Microsoft Office Suite)

Job Responsibilities:

- Travel Required and can be up to 100%

- Reports directly to the foreman

- Operate sweep gear test equipment and troubleshoot, download, and label test results

- Coordinate with Sub-Contractors

- Work safely and professionally at all times

- Able to travel up to 2 weeks at a time.

- Ability to read and understand construction drawings to include electrical one-line.

- Has knowledge of tower elements as related to the project.

- Responsible for Company assets such as vehicles, tools, machinery, computers, etc.

- Ability to deal with problems that arise with crew and project.

- Takes instruction from Foreman and implements directions as needed.

Foreman Experienced Civil/Concrete Technician

Front Range Wireless is a full service telecommunications construction company serving Colorado and the Rocky Mountain Region. We specialize in cell tower and equipment construction, maintenance and upgrades. We are looking for an experienced Foreman Civil/Concrete Technician to join our team.

The ideal candidate MUST have experience in the following:

As a General Foreman in Colorado you will contribute to our team by:

Planning and organizing construction activities and organizing specific work activities of subcontractors.
Completing two-week look-ahead schedules.
Prioritizing and sequencing construction activities to maximize efficiency and identify problem areas.
Participating fully in health, safety, quality and environmental processes.
Supervising and directing work in activities such as: concrete construction, fencing, trenching, and other civil construction.
Ensuring that equipment is maintained.
Managing the storage, security and maintenance of specific tools and manuals.
Identifying equipment, materials, and resources required to perform activities.
Providing input into cost saving methods.
Monitoring cost control and job costing, quantity reporting, forecasting and productivity.
Supervising and training field personnel.
Leading a crew with confidence and always making safety your number one priority.
Writing reports, letters, and other documents in correct format.
Give reliable estimates on labor time and material for potential jobs.
What you will bring to the role:

Minimum 4 years’ experience working on Civil Construction projects
Experience leading craft and/or supervisory experience in the construction of Civil construction experience
Must be able to clearly communicate before a group with confidence.
Must be able to write reports using good grammar, spelling and punctuation.
First Aid, CPR and OSHA training. Safe use of Hand & Power tools.
Must be able to work long hours in varying temperature extremes.
Candidates must be willing to travel up to two weeks at a time.
