Hobbs Story: "First, I want to thank you for all that you do! I am currently a fourth-year veterinary student at Ohio State University on the board of a rescue (For The Love of Jane), so I am very familiar with the difficulty of this field and am grateful for you guys.

I am reaching out because I am in desperate need for transportation for a special needs dog named Hobbs. I am not sure if any of your routes could work, but I wanted to reach out. Hobbs was surrendered due to lameness at 8 weeks old to a veterinary technician in Maine I worked with in the past. My coworker wasn't sure he would survive but took amazing care of him and he is still with us today at 8 months old.

3 months ago, we both road-tripped him to Ohio State College of Veterinary Medicine (and then back to Maine) to be seen by the neurology team and get a CT. They diagnosed him with a T3 vertebrate fracture and potential tethered cord at T2. His condition is extremely rare, and their senior neurology resident organized research funding to pay for an MRI and a potential 12-14 hour surgery to hopefully release pressure and tension on his spinal cord and give him more mobility.

The downside is that this offer for funding expires July 12 because that is when the resident finishes residency. With me on my clinical rotations in veterinary school and my friend working full-time, we have tried everything we can to organize transportation for him with no luck. If he could be driven from Kittery, Maine to anywhere in New Jersey before this Sunday the 21st, I would be able to pick him up and drive him the rest of the way to Columbus. However, any transportation past the 21st would either have to be to Pittsburg or Columbus directly. We have contacted friends, family, and friends-of-friends with some leads, but none panning out. Unfortunately, we do not have the money to pay a pet transporter the $650 I got quoted. We did attempt to do a GoFundMe but only raised $400—not even enough for one way.

I have attached some pictures and videos of little Hobbs and how full of life he is. I also included a snapshot of his CT scan showing the T3 area where his spinal cord has virtually no room. Would you or anyone you know potentially be able to help us get Hobbs to his specialty, fully-funded care?"

If you wish to donate we will get this money to Hobbs. If you can drive Hobbs please email [email protected].
Lets get Hobbs to OHIO!
THANK YOU!

Hank still needs your help to come home with his soldier.

"Met Hank while walking to the showers on Base. I’ve seen the other base dogs around all the time doing there thing but Hank was brand new to me. He was getting checked out by the other dogs when I first met him. He ran up to me to say hi, got the zoomies for a while after I gave him a quick pet then followed me to the building were we take showers. Didn’t think much of it but when I got out he was still waiting for me at the door. He followed me back to my barracks so I put some water out for him just in case. Went to bed and when I woke up the next day he was laying by my door waiting for me. He then proceeded to follow me an my team to every range and every class we had with our partner force and became a staple with our team. Even the partner force came to enjoy him being around. I took care of him for about 2 weeks until I had to leave for about 5 weeks. When I came back he was still waiting for me, fully integrated with my team. He follows me everywhere and has really become a companion of mine. He’s an extremely happy dog, loves people and other dogs always looking to have a fun time or just lay out in his new bed in the AC. He’s a one and a million kind of dog."

🙏 help us get Hank home to America 🇺🇸

Busch says Happy Sunday PRM family!

With the war in Iran and everything going on in the world moving our dogs out of each country is a much more complicated and lengthy process due to airport damage etc.

The team is hard at work making miracles happen one step at a time... in the next few months we will have so many arrivals and we have new rescues in the works.

We need you now more than ever...every amount makes a difference.

Our rescues come in all shapes and sizes. After a very long and complicated journey Bogie landed in the USA and will reunite with his soldier tonight. You never know what pup you'll find on the streets...he sure is a cutie! He was just a tiny baby when his soldier found him. Welcome home Bogie!
Thank you Sue & United airlines for hand carrying him to Oregon and to Raven for hand carrying him from Ghana and Cynthia for delivering him today to Dulles airport today. It takes a village.

Little Miss Donut 🍩

Her story: She a very sweet and trusting dog who loves everyone she meets. She lives on the flight line next to the runway where there's many hazards, she relies on strangers for meals or seeks out garbage left around. It's clear by her behavior that she hasn't always been treated kindly but despite this she gives everyone she meets the same chance, she is a very trusting dog and looks for attention from everyone. She has never shown aggression towards any person or dog, she has been through a lot including getting attacked by a pack of dogs (someone intervened and she wasn't injured). I want to give her the life she deserves and give her the same chance she gives everyone else. I want to be able to give her a retirement where she can rest and relax without trying to find her next meal in the trash.

She will hopefully be packing her 🎒 for America soon...all the way from the Middle East!

Meet our newest girl Patty 💗

"Patty is one of four puppies that have been enduring the strikes from Iran right alongside us since February 28th. Her three littermates are disappeared and she ended up alone trying to survive. Patty and her littermates were one of the only things that gave us genuine smiles and happiness over here. I want her to come home with me where we can start our recovery journey together."

She is now safe and recovering at the vet as she had fallen ill. Patty and her soldier are so grateful she is fully funded. These rescues mean the world to their soldiers...

Meet Jaws 🦈

Rescued from the streets by his soldiers he was saved from a grim fate on a very remote base in an undisclosed location.

After lots of love, food, care and a few 🛁 he was a new pup. He just made it to safety where he will begin the long process of making it back home 🏡 to his soldiers.

He is fully funded by BT but we have some new pups in the works that still need help 💰
