Some new children’s books were added today thanks to my very generous granddaughter! Two others, in the nick of time for St. Patrick’s Day, thanks to General Mills!

Turn a new page, and read every day!

August 5th is National Work Like a Dog Day! It’s a day to ponder and appreciate the hard work and loyalty of all types of therapy and service dogs. When considering the training they receive and value they provide to their human counterparts, the phrase “work like a dog” becomes clear.

And, during the entire month of August, National Dog Month celebrates ALL of our lovable canine pals, whose only job is to love us and make us smile! Several titles have been added to the library to help us remember our furry friends - stop by and pick one up! And let’s see your favorite puppy pal in the comments.

The library is ready for Christmas! Stop by and choose a book. There are several good titles, including a few Christmas themed books. Also, this year’s Daily Bread Christmas devotional is available.

It’s Thanksgiving week, and I am thankful for all the people using the little library! Especially thankful for the generous person(s) who shared some very nice children’s books! (Including a very timely title, “Journey of the Germs” 😷)
