Ascended Heroes Sunday!

We are kicking off another Sunday with an awesome pack opening for episode 191 of our signature series. It was incredible connecting with everyone during our latest stream, sorting out our tech issues, and sharing some amazing hits with the community. Welcome to a casual Saturday session of The Collector's Corner.

Tonight is a low-pressure hangout focused on the hobby. While PC or Pass LIVE is our big monthly event, this stream is just about opening some tins, chatting with the community, and enjoying the cards. No investor talk or market hype here, just Hobby over Hustle.

Today's Plan

I will be opening up some packs and tins to see what we can find for the Personal Collection. We will give away a few cards to the chat along the way, but mostly we are just here to hang out.

All Gameplay cards from today's session will be set aside for Mini Packs. These get stocked in local Little Free Libraries and donated to schools to help more kids get into the hobby.

PC or Pass Episode 189, Chaos Rising!

We have finally made it to Friday, and it is the perfect time to open up a fresh pack of Chaos Rising for episode 189 of PC or Pass! Happy summer break to all the students out there. Hopefully, the season brings plenty of awesome card openings and community connection. This pack kicks off with a lightning energy before rolling into Stunky, Fennekin, Quilladin, Frogadier, an AZ's Tranquility trainer card, Skuntank, and a Deoxys. Trading is such a massive part of what makes this hobby special, bringing people together over a shared love for the game and the artwork. The reverse slots give us a Zubat and a Deoxys, setting things up perfectly for a fun milestone hit in the rare slot. It is an amazing addition that is going to be perfect for sharing with the community!

PC or Pass Episode 188, Surging Sparks!

You have to see this video! We are opening up a fresh pack of Surging Sparks for episode 188 of our PC or Pass series. Today we are hunting down some massive hits to make progress on the Surging Sparks master set. We are recording all of the behind the scenes action for an upcoming long form project, which is going to be a blast to put together. Make sure to tune in this Sunday at 5:00 PM Central on YouTube for our casual live stream, Collectors Corner, where we will be hanging out and cracking open more packs. The pack kicks off with an energy card followed by Glimmora, Snorlax, Primeape, Rufflet, a Dragon Elixir trainer card, Xerneas, and Passimian. Things get incredibly exciting once we hit the reverse slots with a Tandemaus and an Eternatus, leading right into a massive pull for the rare slot. PC or Pass Episode 187, Chaos Rising!

We are cracking open a pack of Chaos Rising for episode 187 of PC or Pass. With all the great gameplay cards coming out of our recent packs, a brand new deck is officially in the works. It is coming together beautifully, and there is a lot to talk about regarding the build. We will be diving into the strategy and sharing the journey during our next casual Sunday live stream, Collectors Corner, at 5:00 PM on YouTube. It is going to be a fun time to hang out, open up some packs, and chat about the hobby. This pack brings some great elements for the deck build, including a Donphan, Braixen, Skrelp, Wimpod, Emma, Ninetales, and an Adversity Policy trainer card. The reverse slots give us a Sudowoodo and a Vulpix, leading right into a rare that fits perfectly into the gameplay pile. Taking a quiet moment out of the day to enjoy the artwork and build up new strategies is what the trading card game is all about.

Crown Zenith is easily one of the absolute best sets to rip when you can find it out in the wild. For this episode of PC or Pass, we are taking a quick break in the day to enjoy the hobby and appreciate the incredible artwork inside this awesome set. While we always hope to find a massive pull for the personal collection, sometimes the cards we open are destined to help build out some fun new decks. It is a beautiful Sunday for a brand new pack opening as we dive into another exciting chapter of our daily collection journey. Trading is truly one of the absolute best parts of this hobby because it brings everyone in the community closer together through a shared love of the cards. While opening up this pack, it brings back memories of a recent local play night at the card shop where some incredible off-camera luck struck with an amazing pull. Today we are hunting for the "Treekachu", but the cards we pull instead remind us exactly why we do this. The artwork on the reverse cards is stellar, and the final pull is an absolute beauty that is going to be perfect for connecting with other collectors.
