A special anniversary post to commemorate The Triangle! Somebody once said to us that the triangle is the strongest shape and after our years of working together I know that it’s true. I asked and to partner with me in 2017 and that August we rebranded as Found and Formed. I am so grateful that they said yes to collaborating with me and am absolutely certain that the shop is only here today because of them. Though we no longer work together professionally, we are still great friends and supporters of one another. We’re actually planning to meet for lunch today! You’ll find popped up at markets across the state and has her own incredible gift shop, in Marion. Our years of working together were the highlight of my career and I feel so profoundly lucky for the experience.

This week brings 10 years of the Czech Village store! I’ve written out so many captions but how do I summarize a decade into a single post or narrow it down to 20 photos?! Here is a little glimpse into my last ten years in The Village. To celebrate we have 10 racks of $10 sale through the end of the month! I am simply so grateful for this community. Thank you.

Found + Formed will always be a safe place for all members of our community and we stand in solidarity with all immigrants, with our neighbors to the north in Minnesota, and with all who are living in fear of our government’s actions day in and day out.

We will remain closed through the Nationwide Shutdown on Friday, 30th. We hope everyone can take the day to protest or give back.

When we open back up from our closure on 2/4, we will have whistles to distribute, and safety measures in place inside the store to protect all our neighbors from ICE’s intensifying threats.
