Today, we're celebrating our summer Communications Intern, Hallie, on her final day with Grant Wood AEA. Hallie joined us through the Kirkwood internship program, and we're so thankful for her hard work, creativity, and the many contributions she made throughout the summer.

Monticello High School senior Aubrey Lasack completed a Radiology internship with UnityPoint Health Jones Regional Medical Center this summer.

Our summer interns are wrapping up their experiences over the next few weeks and we have loved seeing photos from the hosts and hearing about how positive and helpful the students have been!

Shoutout to West High student Ahmed Elbeshti for completing his Kirkwood Community College Workplace Learning Connection internship with us!

Tomorrow marks Ahmed’s last day and we will be sad to see this stellar student go. Ahmed has spent the majority of the internship providing support for our Summer Lunch Program—bringing his bright smile and a willingness to take on any task that’s needed. Ahmed, we hope to see you around again one of these days! Thanks for playing a meaningful role in our work this summer!
