Well, it looks like the Iowa law has passed and teachers will be able to carry. A definite sign of the times. I'm not excited that it has come to this but trained teachers ARE OUR next line of defense to protect our finest little assets. If you know a teacher who plans to get Department of Public Safety certified. Let me know.

Individually, each of these training programs are nearly impossible to complete. He not only completed the training, but served honorably, completing numerous combat missions in each capacity. As we wait for this weeks onslaught of gun control posts. This was the worst of all mass shootings ever. This one hurt me to my core. Let me explain why. This was an 18 yo man that didn't attack a target because of racial hate and used a grocery store as a catalyst. This was not an angry young man that hit his high school peers and teachers because of bullying. Evading resource officers and security.

This was a young man that consciously selected an elementary school with no chance of retaliation from any of the past protective resources. Even new wisdom for active shooters has evolved to Run Hide Fight. This man selected a soft target with zero retaliation. The gun shouldn't scare you. The thought process of realizing, and acting on a soft target of an elementary school as an 18 year old man could only be to inflict as much damage and carnage as possible with no opposition. That's what should scare you for future activity. KEEP YOUR EYE ON THE BALL. Stay safe and watch out for your children. 🙏🏿
