Night off from Hawkeye Downs Speedway and Expo Center came to Marshalltown Speedway and parked it from 10th!! I’ll let driver do full recap

Mother Nature had other plans this weekend, so there will be no racing for us due to the rain. We’ll use the extra time to get everything ready and come back stronger next weekend! 🏁

We’re planning a big three-day racing weekend:

🏁 Friday – Marshalltown Speedway
🏁 Saturday – Hawkeye Downs Speedway and Expo Center
🏁 Sunday – Benton County Speedway “The Bullring”

Forgot to do a recap from last weekend!

Friday started early with a 3:00 AM departure from West Virginia as we were there to celebrate my oldest son’s graduation and spend time with both of my boys. It was a great trip, and on the way home Raven Grady stepped up and drove nearly the entire trip back, with me taking over for the final four-hour stretch.

We pulled into Hawkeye Downs Speedway and Expo Center at 6:10 PM, just in time to race. A huge thank you goes out to Logan Clausen for getting the car to the track and having everything ready to go. There is no way we would have made the race without his help, and I can’t thank him enough.

Despite the long day on the road, we put together a solid night and brought home a 5th-place finish. I’m still learning how to make passes on the outside on asphalt, but I feel like I’m improving every week and getting more comfortable behind the wheel.

Benton County Speedway “The Bullring” was off on Sunday, giving us a chance to catch our breath after a busy weekend.

Pretty good weekend for us. Had a decent run at Hawkeye Downs Speedway and Expo Center in the Corey Crispin Racing asphalt car. Started 7th and came home 4th. That was our first feature with green arrows so that was good. Sunday at Benton County Speedway “The Bullring” I had a hard time in the heat race but held on to a transfer spot. Got lucky and started on the pole after the redraw. Had a great battle for about 10 laps with Jake Anderson. Unfortunately his transmission came apart ending his race. I realized the top side was where to be after battling him. On the restart I shot to the top. We were able to get our second win of the season.
