Top Fundraiser Recognition!

A huge congratulations to Kinnick Felton for being our Top Fundraiser this season!

Fundraising plays a vital role in helping the Cedar Rapids Prairie Rugby Club provide the best possible experience for our athletes. From equipment and uniforms to travel and team events, the support from our players, families, and community makes it all possible.

We want to thank everyone who participated and supported our fundraising efforts. Your dedication helps our club continue to grow and create opportunities for these student-athletes both on and off the field.

As our Top Fundraiser, Kinnick was awarded a Crumbl Cookies gift card and a Prairie Rugby Club hat. Well deserved!

Prairie Rugby Club End of Season Awards

What a great way to wrap up an incredible season! At our end-of-season banquet, we celebrated the hard work, dedication, and growth of our players by handing out our annual team awards.

These awards are especially meaningful because they were voted on by the players themselves, recognizing the teammates who made a lasting impact both on and off the field throughout the season.

Congratulations to all of our award winners and thank you to every player, coach, parent, and supporter who helped make this season a success. The growth of our program continues because of the commitment and culture built by this team.

Rugby is more than just a game—it's about teamwork, respect, discipline, and community. We're proud of everything our players accomplished this season and excited for what's ahead.

A little late, but we wanted to take a moment to recognize and congratulate our 11 graduating seniors. Thank you for everything you have brought to our program through your hard work, dedication, leadership, and commitment over the years.

We are incredibly proud of each of you and excited to see what comes next. Many of these young men will be continuing their rugby careers at the collegiate level or with men's clubs, and we know they will represent themselves, their families, and our program well.

Running out of time to sign up for the YMCA Co-Ed Youth Rugby Camp!

We need at least 15 kids registered to make this camp happen — don’t wait! Camp starts June 3rd, so sign up TODAY!

This is a great opportunity for boys and girls to try one of the fastest-growing sports around in a fun and welcoming environment. Rugby teaches teamwork, toughness, fitness, leadership, and confidence.

Both boys and girls can continue playing in high school and even into college! Many former Cedar Rapids area players are currently competing in college rugby programs across the country.

More and more students are joining rugby every year, and this camp is the perfect way to get introduced to the sport before high school.

Congratulations to Peace on being recognized at tonight’s School Board meeting!

The Board recognized Peace for her leadership and commitment to helping launch the Play it Forward Program — an initiative focused on removing barriers and creating more opportunities for students to participate in sports.

Peace has been a great leader for our Prairie Rugby family, and we’re proud to see her making an impact both on and off the field. Thank you for helping make sports more accessible for all students!

Congratulations to Peace who was recognized at tonight’s School Board meeting. The Board recognized Peace for her leadership and commitment to the successful launch of the Play it Forward Program which is an initiative designed to remove barriers for students who want to participate in sports.
