In observance of the Juneteenth holiday, City of Cedar Hill administrative offices and select facilities will be closed Friday, June 19, including the Government Center, Traphene Hickman Library, Alan E. Sims Recreation Center, Senior Activity Center and Tri-City Animal Shelter.

Sweet, squishy, and made with love 🍓🍡 Our teens stepped into the kitchen and learned how to make delicious daifuku mochi while celebrating Asian American & Pacific Islander Heritage Month! From powdered sugar everywhere to “wait… I actually made this?!” moments, this class was a whole vibe.

Big shoutout to our talented teens for rolling, filling, laughing, and creating some seriously tasty treats 👏🏾✨ Who knew the storytelling room could turn into a mochi lab?
