🤔When dispatching a load for a carrier, it's very crucial to know your driver's drive h
ours. This will come into effect when booking loads. You want to make sure your driver has hours to run the load that you book. If you can please ask your driver for the login to the ELD so that you can monitor it. The last thing you want to do as a dispatcher is to book a load your carrier doesn't have the hours to run.

Let's talk about one of the most common types of trailers. The first one being the Day Van.🚛
If you're on the fence about how you want to transport freight successfully then you must first determine the shipping option that best suits your transportation needs.
THE Dry Van is semi-trailer type that's fully enclosed to protect freight from outside elements. They are the trailers that you see on the roads every day contend to trucks.
They can haul a variety of products, both short and long distances.
Products include:
Clothing
Cleaning products
Electronics
Automotive equipment and much more!

Working as a trucking dispatcher can mean long, very focused hours. They are responsible for driver and trip scheduling and all driver communication while they are on the job. This type of communication can involve information about traffic delays, vehicle breakdowns, project delays, or delivery issues.
Truck dispatchers are also responsible for recording transportation expenses like mileage, fuel use, and repairs. They are also expected to keep track of all shipping and delivery details. They plan routes that will ultimately save the driver’s time and the company money.
