I really enjoyed this project! My goal was to create a mandala with abstracted illustrations of plants local to Southern Utah. I did a little bit of research (even though I live here 😅) and based my drawings on succulents and flowers you can typically find growing here out in nature. I couldn't justify fitting prickly pear cactus (my favorite) but I was able to get the flower in there. However, I'm especially fond of the agave leaves.

My daughter helped me install this huge perforated window decal this afternoon and I'm eternally grateful for her assistance in doing so. I also sincerely appreciate Rebecca at Cedar Yoga Space for giving me the opportunity to create a work of art expressing what I love so much about Southern Utah, in such a beautiful way.
