FIRST Tech Challenge - Utah

Okay, try not to look at the game, that is a dead give-away, but look at the team members and volunteers. Such a highly competent and dare we say, adorable (yes we did it!) crowd of competitors and support staff. Many of these students are now in college and making their way through challenging degrees and into exciting new life opportunities!

FTC Utah New Home at Southern Utah University

Greetings from Southern Utah University! This is Laurel Dodgion, SUU College of Engineering & Computational Sciences Academic Enhancement Coordinator and new FTC partner. I have participated in FIRST as a coach, mentor and tournament director since 2013 and look forward to working with all of you.

I would like to thank Dana Dellinger for her leadership and direction in the FTC Utah program over the past decade. She has helped create a brighter future for so many students. I, and I'm sure we, will miss her.

We are building the new FTC Utah website now. You can reach the site at https://www.suu.edu/stem/robotics/ftc/. Currently, you can register your team for the Kickoff (offered in-person and online) and reach the FTC website. Pages and links for competitions, build days, the championship and team toolbox (new feature) will be available soon. My team and I will keep you posted as the site develops.

I look forward to working with you and getting to know you. I want to build the FTC community with all Utah teams, mentors and volunteers. Hey, hey, we have a new FTC UT Partner in town! After a fun 'bot filled decade, Weber State's College of Engineering, Applied Science & Technology is passing the FTC torch to SUU. Laurel Dodgion will be the new FTC Partner and she and her team will be fantastic!
Before we bow out though, Dana Dellinger, FTC Partner from 2014-2020 would like to throw out some blasts from the past pix from the last six years and let you all know how much she has enjoyed working with the FTC UT community, mainly because you all are fun, funny, clever, ingenious, excited and creative! Best wishes forever, FTC fans!
