Today we’re taking a look back at one of our favorite hands-on learning experiences! Our 4th grade students put their science knowledge to the test by designing and building their very own convection ovens. 🌞🔬

After learning about heat transfer and how convection works, students used their creations to roast delicious s’mores! 🍫🔥 It was the perfect combination of science, creativity, problem-solving, and fun.

Cayce Elementary is working hard to get ready for next school year and wanted to share out some important information.

Back to School Bash information is attached in the flyers included in this post. Please note that only students who are FULLY registered will be able to attend, so if you haven't registered your child please do so ASAP! When students are fully registered, they will receive their teacher/class assignment and this will be the ticket for entry to Back to School Bash. Dates for pickup of those teacher assignments and welcome packets are also included on the flier.

Finally, Lexington 2 is doing a staggered start for 4K and 5K this year that will include an orientation, therefore we will not be having rising 4K and 5K students attend the Back to School Bash.

Our school office will be open Monday through Thursday from 7:30 AM–5:00 PM throughout the summer. We look forward to assisting our Griffin families!
