At L2IC, we're reimagining learning.
Through curiosity, creativity, and real-world experiences, we empower young people to discover their unique strengths, grow with confidence, and unlock the inherent genius within every learner.
Building Skills. Building Futures.
Our Building Construction students are putting their skills into action in the shop! Under the outstanding instruction of Kenny Shumpert, students are gaining hands-on experience and learning the skills they need to prepare for entry-level careers in the building construction industry.
Throughout the program, students receive instruction and practical experience in:
🪚 Basic Carpentry
🏠Framing
⚡ Electricity
🔧 Plumbing
Mr. Shumpert does a fantastic job of preparing our students for the workforce by combining classroom instruction with real-world, hands-on learning. We are proud to watch our students learn, build, problem-solve, and develop skills that can lead to exciting career opportunities!
The future is being built right here! 👏🏽🏗️
Before our Health Science 3 students step out into real-world clinical environments, they took a moment to reflect on their journey so far. Hear directly from our students about why they joined Health Science, their favorite hands-on experiences, and how grateful they are for the dedicated guidance of Mrs. DeWitt, Mrs. Gooding, and Mrs. Ayers.
Wish our students luck as they begin their clinicals this semester!
