What is Edema?
It's swelling that happens when extra fluid gets trapped in your body’s tissues. You might notice it most in your feet, ankles, legs, hands, or around your eyes. The swollen area can feel puffy, and sometimes if you press it with a finger, it leaves a dent for a few seconds. S
Why does it happen?
Think of your body like it has pipes (blood vessels) and drains (the lymph system). Swelling happens when the “pipes” leak extra fluid into your body or the “drains” can’t keep up with the amount of fluid that is present.
What causes this to happen?
Well, you might be surprised to know that there are many everyday things that we do each day that can cause this to happen.
Standing or sitting too long (gravity!)
Injury, bug bites, or infection
Too much salt (your body holds onto the water)
Hormone changes (puberty/menstrual cycle)
Certain medications
Heart, kidney, or liver problems (more serious)
Lymph system drainage issues (lymphedema/removed nodes/surgery)

What is a lymph node?
It is a small, bean-shaped structure that acts like a garbage collector and security checkpoint for your body.
In simple terms:
Think of a lymph node as a mini clinic that is a check point to clean lymph fluid while helping your immune system decide what doesn't belong in your body.
They filter metabolic waste, bacteria, viruses, and abnormal cells. If something doesn't belong, your nodes will activate the immune cells (lymphocytes), when there is an infection or inflammation in addition to helping to control selling by processing any excess fluid in our soft tissues.
Our bodies have hundreds of lymph nodes throughout; with clusters I call intersections. These intersections help to drain the processed waste out of your body.
These areas are located
-In your Neck above your clavicle and under your jaw
-In your Armpits
-In both sides of your Groin
-Deep in the chest and abdomen
-In the Backs of your knee's
Stimulate these drainage areas to help the fluid flow out of the body, along with all the metabolic waste and toxins, by using a flat hand with gentle circular motions.
Don't forget to increase your fluid intake to prevent dehydration!
Great for draining your chest❣️💪🏼🐞

Magnesium Deficiency Is Often Overlooked, But There Are Ways to Fix It…. AND Increase your vitamin D at the same time
If you’re looking to get more vitamin D in your diet, take it with a side of magnesium.
That mineral appears to help regulate levels of vitamin D, which in turn manages the levels of other minerals such as calcium and phosphorus. It also improves bone strength and possibly reduces the risk of cardiovascular disease and cancer.
Vitamin D and Magnesium Levels Magnesium can help boost vitamin D levels. Here are foods that are rich in these minerals.
