It’s that time of year again. Register for the iconic Skyline 50k

The Skyline 50K is a 31.4 mile trail running event with 4,858 ft of elevation gain that takes place in Castro Valley , California. The course starts and ends at Lake Chabot Marina and loops through the East Bay Regional Parks. The race is considered beginner-friendly and is part of the P-USATF Grand Prix and UTMB Index. Here’s what to know about the 2025 Skyline 50K:
Date: Sunday, August 3 at 7 AM
Packet pickup: Saturday, August 5 from 2–5 PM at Sport’s Basement Berkeley
Race day registration and bib pickup: Opens at 6 AM on race day
Awards: Overall winners and the top 3 in each age group receive awards
Swag: All runners receive a race shirt, socks, and a finisher’s medal
Support: Aid stations are supported by Bay Area running groups Sign up and save your sport

ALERT! GRATITUDE BOMB!

We want to thank all the runners, volunteers, and staff who took part in Napa Valley Endurance Run. This is more than a race: it’s an epic journey from the Calistoga Fairgrounds up Oat Hill Mine Trail, all the way to the summit of Mount St. Helena—truly one of the toughest and most beautiful races in Northern California.

This is a small race with an enormous heart. It happens each year thanks to the strength and spirit of our amazing community. Special thanks to Steve and Felicia at Palisades Canyon Wines for their continued support and friendship. HUZZAH to the Calistoga Wildcats Track Team, who joined us and tackled part of the 10K course.

Thank you to our forever ambassador Heather and her husband Greg, to the Hardcastle Family to Eric and Brenda and to the many we have forgotten to list.

And most of our congratulations to our runners! Whether you took on the legendary 50K or supported from the sidelines, you helped make this event unforgettable. Thank you all for being part of the adventure!
