Last week started rough celebrating the 3rd anniversary of my mom’s passing. Then my family touched down and my spirit was instantly lifted. I got to spend the weekend watching my cousin Tre and the Cougars slaughter the Bears. #21

This holiday season, I’m taking time to reflect and appreciate the ones who mean the most. Especially grateful to celebrate with this man

God did his big one in choosing my parents. It goes without saying how thankful I am for the time, effort, sacrifice, and patience (heavy on the patience) they took pouring into me. I’m blessed beyond measure and I don’t take a second, minute, or hour for granted.

For those not here with us, we feel your presence. Life is short, so hold your loved ones close.

I was a bit hesitant on posting these pictures but memories with my Mom have been popping up in my phone all day. 4 years ago today, I opened my salon doors for the first time. As I’ve said in a previous post, she was the one to help me get it ready to open and those memories keep circulating…It’s been a really emotional day to say the least.

Anyway, this photo was her last time in my chair. This picture represents so many things. Mostly, in these moments we got to share, every 3 weeks, while she sat in my chair, she poured so much knowledge into me…

Those are the moments I will cherish but will also miss.
