What does it mean to repent?
“Repentance is a change of heart and mind that brings us closer to God. It includes turning away from sin and turning to God for forgiveness. It is motivated by love for God and a sincere desire to obey His commandments.”
Study the Gospel and believe. Understand why our Father in Heaven sent His beloved son, Jesus, to the cross as a propitiation for our sins. We deserve God’s wrath and yet Jesus took all the punishment on our behalf. What a Savior my Lord, Jesus, is! He has risen and He is coming soon ❤️.

Father, you loved me from before you created me.
You watched me all my life fall into sin and wretchedness.
You disciplined me over and over and, yet, I continue to run away from you.
In my rebellion, you gave me the gift of my daughters.
Through them, you revealed to me all of Your character and you brought to light my deceitful heart.
You send forth the Spirit of your Son into my heart, crying "Abba! Father!"
And only then did I know what a faithful, loving and forgiving Father you are.
My sacrifice to my girls are nothing compared to Your sacrifice on the cross.
Thank you Father for choosing me before the foundation of the world and adopting me into your family, through Jesus Christ.
Thank you, Jesus for saving me and forgiving all of my transgressions against you.
Today is Father's Day and as we celebrate our earthly fathers… I celebrate You.
All the Honor and Glory belongs to you.
