Spring into Safety day at the Boys and Girls club til noon today. State Farm giving out helmets for our 27th year!!!

Some cold temperatures are coming this weekend. Please take some time to inspect your exterior faucets, insulate or cover them and disconnect any hoses. If you’re going to leave your house, keep the heat on, let a faucet drip or have a friend keep a good eye on it. This kind of damage really stinks to have to deal with. Stay warm!

Bring some toys for kids today and all week to WalMart east. The girls and I volunteered today and Casper folks are so generous. Thanks all!!!

Real winter is finally here. It’s cold, and it’s going to get colder and will be for many days. Make sure your heat is keeping the temperature in your house above 55 degrees. If you’re leaving, have a friend or neighbor watch the house (let them get inside to keep an eye on things). Check to make sure your exterior faucets are insulated and all hoses disconnected. Pay attention to plumbing you know are on exterior walls. The right angle of the wind can freeze pipes even inside walls. Let a small drip/stream run to help prevent freezing. Freezing pipes are awful experiences and I sure don’t want you to have one. Drive safe and quite simply…just slow down.
