Our hearts are heavy today as one of our incredible support staff members, Xzavier Briggs was involved in a terrible motorcycle accident last night.

He is currently facing a long road to recovery, and during this difficult time, we are asking our community to come together in support of him and his family. Those who know him know his kind heart, dedication to others, and the positive impact he has made in the lives of so many individuals and families we serve.

Right now, he needs all the love, prayers, and support we can provide. Please keep him, his loved ones, and his medical team in your thoughts and prayers as they navigate the challenges ahead.

I didn’t get to post about our awesome speech team this month, but I do want to close out Speech Therapy Month with a shout out to our girl Nikki Ashby Nik Nack. She has been through so much this year, and her courage to continue working through it all is truly remarkable. Nikki has worked for us for 2 years this month and recently joined us full time, which has been such a blessing and a benefit to our kids at Elite. We are so lucky to have her provide speech therapy services to our clients and training with our staff on how to make things better as a team. Thanks for always being a smiling face the kids see and a kind voice they hear. We appreciate you!

We welcome May and all it has to offer before summer starts! We look forward to celebrating Speech Therapy Month with our wonderful Speech team and appreciating all they do to give our kids a voice!

Today we want to celebrate a return to the OT field! Mark not only runs our adult dayhab facility but he recently reinstated his license to be able to help our dayhab clients with their OT needs as well! In the last month he has started treating again and is excited to work with our clients from a more therapeutic approach! One thing Mark enjoys with all of our clients is cooking which of course is a lifelong skill!Thanks Mark for helping our adult clients be the best that they can be as well as providing a safe place for them to go everyday!

Today marks 7 years since Haelle started working for us! We are so grateful she has stuck it out with us for so long providing OT services to our clients! We have watched her become a mother and she is about to welcome a second baby girl! Haelle works well with children and adults but seems most passionate about our adults with developmental disabilities. We are thankful to have her a part of our Elite OT team! Happy Anniversary Haelle!

Brooke started working at Elite Therapy in January 2022. She graduated from the Casper College Occupational Therapy Assistant program in 2021. Before discovering her love for Occupational Therapy, Brooke obtained her Massage Therapy certificate from the Denver School of Massage Therapy in October 2016.

She has a passion for helping people grow and feel better overall so they are able to live their best lives.

When not at work, Brooke spends her time with her husband and beautiful daughter! We are thankful she has stuck with us for the last 4 years! She has clients who say she is the best thing that has ever happened to them and we feel lucky to have her to help our clients achieve their very best! Thanks Brooke for all you do for Elite!

Did you know our company is Occupational Therapy owned!?! Jamie and I both work in the OT profession and sometimes get lucky enough to get to treat or hang out with our kids and staff at Elite! We have overcome some serious challenges this year and over the last 13 but we are here to serve Casper better than we ever have been able to before! Our staff is jumping on board with the ABA approach and we have seen a wonderful shift in staff and client engagement as well as staff continuing to ask questions to provide the best collaborative therapeutic approach! Today I wanted to shout out Jamie Soldat who throughout the recent unexpected transitions, has dedicated nights and weekends to moving the Elite Dayhab Facility, completing the billing, the payroll, the credentialing and hiring of many new employees, you truly are able to figure out how to make it all happen! I am so blessed to have landed in the position I am in and although we have very different roles now it has been a good journey to get to where we are today!
