Custom skulls and western art made in Casper, Wyoming by Lindsay Stilwell Each one is a memory of some sort, or about to be. I then prime the entire skull.
My goal at Wyo Elements is to create one of a kind design for each and every skull brought in. I personally hope to capture everything about the hunt, and my clients taste to create an amazingly eye catching piece for them to hang anywhere they wish. I require that the skull be brought to me already bleached. If you want a wall hanging mount on the back it is best to do so before I take it, that w
ay I can paint it to blend into the design. If it doesn't have one I can always add one. This ensures that the integrity of the bone is kept clean and strong. I can then paint, bead, or feather, or you can choose a bit of all of them. Also I have some landscapes and antlers that I paint. I also work with fiberglass resin over the top to give some of my pieces a 3D affect. I can take the resin and dye it with oil paint, then in the short window I have I can lay it over images on the canvas using either a brush or a cattle syringe. After 48 hours the resin is dry and set. This also allows me to customize each print. I can resin any print any way the client wants. Here at Wyo Elements I want to focus on bringing my clients something different and unique. I hope to share my creative view in the world of the outdoors and help to extend every memory of the hunt for all that come my way. Happy Hunting!
