Exciting news! I was asked to be a guest speaker for the Annual Young Authors Contest Kick Off Event hosted by the State of Wyoming Literacy Association. I couldn’t be more proud and can’t wait to promote creative writing to the youth of Wyoming.

Tonight was a huge success! Meeting so many Casper residents reaffirmed why I am so fortunate to have moved here. The kindness, warmth, and encouragement meant the world to me.

Man oh man do I love working with pen to create landscape illustrations. I feel like they are just the best medium for achieving a whimsical storybook vibe.

I’m planning to bring several landscape pieces like this to the Casper Art Walk this summer, along with several works inspired by breathtaking Wyoming landmarks.

This weather has me daydreaming of Ten Sleep and the contest.

I don’t know about y’all, but I’m counting down the days till we can get out and start camping for the season. I never feel more inspired to write than when I’m surrounded by nature.

If you are in Wyoming and have never visited Ten Sleep-I highly recommend a visit. My family and I stayed in an awesome airbnb last summer while my husband was participating in the song writer contest. I sure hope we can get out that way again this summer.

When I began the journey of writing Maggie Morris, I could have never pictured how incredible this chapter would be. Sharing my story with all of you has been an exciting-unexpected experience. There have been days filled with joy and confidence. There have been days with nerves and insecurity. However, the one constant has been a continual stream of gratitude.

I’m beyond grateful for the privilege of sharing my story with all of you. I truly believe that we all have a unique-worthwhile story to tell. I hope that my journey will inspire others to begin their own.
