The odds were against Texas Rodeo Hall of Fame barrel racer, Angela Ganter, surviving Stage 4 breast cancer. If she did, it was incomprehensible that she might ride again, let alone compete. But Angela decided otherwise. During her ordeal, Angela somehow managed to coach her daughter, Jackie Ganter, to the WPRA Rookie of the Year title at the National Finals Rodeo (NFR). Experience how Angela “went from death’s door to the winner’s circle” and why the calls her inspirational story "the greatest comeback in rodeo history."

In 2015, Rusty Wright made a stellar run at the College National Finals Rodeo (CNFR) saddle bronc championship representing the College of Southern Idaho (CSI). His dad, the great Cody Wright, was a member of the CSI Eagles men's CNFR championship team in 2001. In 2015, Rusty also qualified for the National Finals Rodeo (NFR), and finished 3rd in the PRCA World Standings. For us on the OTD team, this feels like a full circle moment: Rusty is a huge part of "Outriding the Devil," and now the movie has its Wyoming Premiere as part of the CNFR celebrations in Casper on June 13. Right now, Rusty is neck-and-neck with his brother (another topclass human being) in the saddle bronc world standings. In 2015, one of Rusty's rivals at the CNFR was Shade Etbauer. When members of the Wright and Etbauer families compete in the same arena, it says all you need to know about the legacy of the CNFR! It's an honor to have the Wright family's amazing insights and contributions to "Outriding the Devil," and a privilege to have the support of the National Intercollegiate Rodeo Association (NIRA) - Commissioner Jim Dewey Brown and Director, Sarah Neely.

my favorite (local) adventures

Casper has always been the perfect place to do the things I love, like:

rock climbing in Fremont Canyon
stargazing on the mountain
shredding at
catching the Northern lights
trail racing at skunk hollow

and it has been such an honor working with .casper on their campaign over the last couple of months, highlighting my favorite parts about living here and why it's so important we keep supporting our local tourism efforts

thank you for coming along for the ride, I hope you're stoked to get out and jam some local adventures this summer!! while you're out and about.. take a few minutes to appreciate all the work that goes into making Casper THEE place to be, cheers friends!
