The Taters bring their eclectic blend of Roots-Pop, to The Berkley Cafe on Sat, Aug 6 on a double bill with NC's own Secret Monkey Weekend. The Taters celebrate 25 years with a sound that is a curious, accidental mix of the Mavericks, the Everly Brothers, Roy Orbison and the Beatles. No matter what the style, the music always centers around vocal melodies and harmonies, and it's hard to walk away from a show without humming the songs.

We had one last show on the books to be rescheduled from 2020 due to COVID-19 restrictions, so we are happy to work with The Cary Arts Center to present Good Shot Judy.

Good Shot Judy specializes in delivering classic jazz music and recreating the nightclub entertainment feel of Vegas in its prime. The band will delight you with classic swing (Sinatra & Basie), contemporaries (Michael Bublé & Harry Connick Jr.), beautiful ballads (Ella Fitzgerald & Billie Holiday) and high energy Latin Dance big band sound. I just heard the news that long time friend Tommy Edwards from The Bluegrass Experience has passed. Tommy was a great guy, terrific musician and loyal supporter of music. Tommy played more Six String shows than any other musician over the years beginning with leading our Wednesday night Bluegrass series at the original Six String Cafe. I always enjoyed talking with Tommy and catching up. My heart goes out to Cindy and all who knew and loved him. Go in peace my friend.
