Samurai Bujutsu Curriculum & Ninjutsu Instruction under the Kazan Ryu Bujutsu system, founded by Jeffrey Ingram. Bujutsu is the art of war and military science.
Bujutsu was used by the feudal warriors known as the Samurai for survival, knowledge, and defense. Alongside their Bujutsu, the Samurai also employed the skills and knowledge of Shinobi-no-jutsu, or better known as Ninjutsu. Last week Kazan Ryu Bujutsu Kai traveled to Morganton, NC to attend another Yamakage Ryu Seminar under David Osborne, Kyoshi. This was an incredible day of training, instruction and fellowship. Special thanks to Scott Coffey, Hanshi and Gateway Martial Arts for for hosting this marvelous event. 🙏🏻

Today at the Tenarashikan Dojo in Cary, NC we enjoyed and incredible day of training. Our focus: Yamakage Ryu Bujutsu Heiho review. This review session centered around Taisabaki Waza with Kentsui Uchi, Tanto, Hanbo, Wakizashi, and Yamakage Ken Waza…🙏🏻

This weekend at the Tenarashikan Dojo in Cary, NC we kicked off May with an incredible day of training. Our focus: Fundamentals of Kihon. Review of 9th Kyu, Hanbo Kata, and Hanbo Waza. It’s important to make sure your foundation is strong or your house will crumble…🙏🏻

This weekend at the Tenarashikan Dojo in Cary, NC we had an incredible day of Kazan Ryu Kempo. Our focus: Tekko Kata and Waza, Kazan Ryu Long Weiba Tao, and Tie ji Tao. The Tekko that have been chosen for our school are those created by David Osborne, Kyoshi of Yamakage Ryu. As practitioners of Yamakage Ryu, we are most honored to have the opportunity to train with these particular Tekko.
