As we navigate our own emotions and conversations with our children, here are a few resources regarding the tragedy in Texas yesterday (provided by Orange Curriculum). In the Dropbox link, you'll find conversation guides, as well as a video from Sissy Goff, a children's counselor, from Raising Boys and Girls. She speaks specifically about this tragedy. Feel free to download and send/post as needed. We are with you in navigating this, and please don't hesitate to reach out if you have questions or would like to discuss further.

Reroute is a serving adventure for middle school students!
Where: It's a mystery! Part of the adventure is being surprised by the destinations! Don't worry parents, you will receive a full itinerary on the day of departure with contact numbers and physical addresses of each location. We'll serve with a variety of nonprofits in the communities that we travel to.
Why: For students, orienting a week of their summer around others and their needs is powerful! Serving puts hands and feet to God's heart for others. Also, serving can be a lot of FUN!
How much: The cost is $900 (to be raised over the next 6 months).
Deadline to apply: December 18th

Ugh. Waiting is hard. Especially when we’re waiting for a new series to arrive. Well, good news! This week, we’re starting a new series called Countdown to Christmas.
We can't wait to see our middle school students for Edge Christmas Service at 10:00am to 11:00am TOMORROW, Sunday, December 5th!!!!
We'll be in the Den, our student room upstairs and across the bridge. Edge is what we call our Sunday morning large group middle school service.

Bullying is something we’ll all encounter at some point, whether we’re being bullied, see someone being bullied, or are the bully ourselves. So let’s talk about it! Catch our new series Trending this week! We'll be talking about it in our small groups 6:30 to 8:00pm at Crosspointe on the Clubhouse hallway!

What do you do when someone does you wrong? If we’re honest, most of us would admit we want to get even, right? Well, God actually asks us to do something different; God asks us to find a way to move on. And in our series, Moving On, we’re going to talk about how to forgive! We hope to see you at life group INSIDE Crosspointe tonight at 6:30pm!!!
