Brilliant Numbers

In December, 2008, I got a phone call from a woman who had been in a QuickBooks class that I taught. She asked me if I would please help her with the books for her husband's shop. I didn't have a business and wasn't planning to start one, but I agreed to help her. After working with them a few weeks, I put my profile on the Find A ProAdvisor website. Fifteen years later, I have a large successful business with a wonderful team. Would this have happened if Linda Guida didn't call me? We will never know. I have just found out that Linda recently passed away. I am shocked and hugely saddened. She was a kind and charming friend. I will miss her. I have told her multiple times that my company exists because of her, and she always laughed it off and told me that I would have succeeded anyway. I hope she is peaceful now. Thank you, Linda. Thank you for igniting my business. And thank you for being a lovely friend.

My two wonderful years on the Intuit Partner Council have come to an end. It was one of the greatest events of my career. Intuit truly cares about their employees, their customers, and their accountants. Our opinions and experiences were incredibly valued by the project managers. We have seen some exciting new features that we can’t wait to embrace when they are launched. I’m very grateful to Intuit for allowing me to be a part of this amazing team. I entered starry-eyed and remained that way throughout my tenure. Thank you to Ted Callahan and Jessica McCracken. It was wonderful!
