Brightleaf Consulting Group is honored to support The Carying Place, a meaningful organization committed to helping working families experiencing homelessness build stable, independent futures. Since 1993, The Carying Place has been serving Wake County families with children, breaking the cycle of homelessness through education, accountability, and compassionate support.
Their signature “Journey Home” program provides 16 weeks of no-cost transitional housing while families receive guidance in financial literacy, life skills, and long-term planning. During this time, parents work toward eliminating debt, saving income, and preparing for permanent, sustainable housing—ultimately receiving their savings back to support that transition. The Carying Place also invests in children directly, offering emotional support, social activities, educational resources, and access to essential services that help restore confidence and stability during difficult times.
We proudly support The Carying Place because they provide not only housing, but dignity, tools for independence, and a chance for families to re-establish a hopeful future. If you’re looking for an impactful way to give back this season, we encourage you to consider supporting their important work.

This Holiday Season, Brightleaf Consulting Group is proud to support Carroll’s Kitchen, an inspiring nonprofit restaurant that is transforming lives in our community. Through their Restorative Employment Model, Carroll’s Kitchen provides job training, culinary skills, and ongoing support for women overcoming crisis—whether from homelessness, addiction, incarceration, or domestic violence.
Their work goes far beyond employment. They create a pathway toward stability, confidence, and economic dignity, and the results speak for themselves: more than 42 program graduates and a remarkable record of renewed independence and restored hope.
We’re honored to stand behind Carroll’s Kitchen and their mission to help women build strong foundations for their futures. If you’re looking for a meaningful way to give back this season, we encourage you to support their work as well.
