We tried something new today and had a make your own bracelet experience. This little bud was SO excited about using the hammer.

I started a craft club at my full time job. (Elementary school) I focus on process based work. I teach them the techniques, and give some advice, but otherwise it’s theirs.
One of the students made this for our schools poetry night decorations. I explained how they can hold the flowers in their hand and move it around until they like it. I also told them how to put them into the styrofoam to secure it.

That was the extent of their instruction…. This was the result. BEAUTIFUL! With any luck we have a *budding* flower artist on our hands!

I hear tell there may be a bounce house for kids under 5, and a raffle for some pretty awesome potential prizes.
