Backburner is an Americana Rock band with a rich history in songwriting. Backburner likes writing music. All songs started as originals.
Expect powerful vocal harmonies, dynamic acoustic and electric guitars, complemented by keys and a tight rhythm section. We sprinkle in some of our originals but balance this with the majority of our sets being cover songs. We do like to challenge our listeners a little by not playing the same songs you hear every other band out there playing. Yes, we do some of the same songs, but we like to mix

After months of hard work, we have been releasing singles from our 6-song EP. A few songs have already dropped, and now, after badgering Ryan for a while, his first one — Idaho — is out. 🎸 He’s not just a killer writer, singer, and guitarist, but also an engineer and producer who made every track stronger. Big shoutout to Scott for locking the songs down with his tasteful bass lines.
