I’m honored to currently serve as President of the Carthage Community Foundation. Earlier this week, we had the privilege of awarding more than $100,000 to agency nonprofit organizations serving Jasper County.
These organizations do incredible work every day to support children, families, and communities throughout our area, and it’s inspiring to see so many people committed to making a positive difference locally. I’m grateful to be part of an organization that continues to support and strengthen Jasper County. 🤝

Last week, I spent some time putting out flags in honor of Memorial Day.
Memorial Day gives us an opportunity to pause and remember the men and women who gave their lives in service to our country. Their sacrifice and dedication to protecting our freedoms should never be forgotten. 🇺🇸
I’m grateful for those who served and for the families who continue to carry their legacy forward. Honoring their memory is something that should remain important long after the holiday weekend has passed.

Memorial Day is more than a long weekend. It is a reminder of the brave men and women who gave everything so we could enjoy the freedoms we have today.
Take a moment today to reflect, remember, and give thanks.

Local courts play an important role in the day-to-day lives of our communities. They help resolve issues, protect individuals, and ensure the law is applied fairly and consistently.
It’s a responsibility I’ve been honored to carry, and one I continue to take seriously every day.
As we move closer to the August election, I would truly appreciate your continued support.

Had a great time at the Elks Car Show in Webb City this weekend with my 1977 MGB! 🚗
Events like this are a fun way to spend time with the community, appreciate some incredible classic cars, and connect with people from across Jasper County. There’s always something special about seeing the stories and memories that come along with these vehicles.
Thank you to the Webb City Elks and everyone involved for putting together such a great event. Proud to be part of a community that continues to come together and support local events like this. 🇺🇸

I had the unique privilege of taking part in Great American's Day and speaking with area 5th graders about forgiveness through the perspective of Squanto. A remarkable figure whose compassion and leadership helped shape early American history.
Stepping into history in a hands-on way was a fun experience, but more importantly, it was a meaningful opportunity to talk with students about character, resilience, and the power of forgiveness. These lessons matter just as much today as they did generations ago.
I’m always grateful for opportunities to connect with young people in our community and to support educational experiences that encourage both learning and leadership. Thank you to everyone involved in making Great American Day such a special event. 🇺🇸📚

The law doesn’t exist in a vacuum, it’s connected to the people, families, and communities it serves.
That’s why staying connected to our community matters. Understanding the people behind the cases helps keep the work grounded and meaningful.
I’m grateful to serve a community that values connection, responsibility, and respect. 🤝

Earlier this week, I had the privilege of spending time with students at Harry S. Truman Leadership Academy to talk about something we all face throughout life — adaptability.
Life doesn’t always go exactly as planned, and learning how to adjust, grow, and make thoughtful decisions through challenges is an important skill at any age. It was a pleasure speaking with these students and encouraging them to stay flexible, keep learning, and continue building the tools they’ll need for the future.
I’m always grateful for opportunities like this to connect with young people in our community. Investing time in the next generation is important, and I truly appreciate the chance to be part of that conversation. 📚⚖️

A lot of people focus on what happens inside the courtroom, but there’s also an important process that follows every decision.
Orders are finalized, records are updated, and next steps are put into motion, all part of making sure each case is fully resolved and handled properly.
It’s a reminder that the work doesn’t stop when a decision is made. 📂⚖️
