My challenge to those who see this post what your state Constitution says about your right to keep and bear arms.

FRIDAY, APRIL 24, 2020
STATE CONSTITUTIONAL PROVISION - Article 1, Section 23.

“That the right of every citizen to keep and bear arms, ammunition, and accessories typical to the normal function of such arms, in defense of his home, person, family and property, or when lawfully summoned in aid of the civil power, shall not be questioned. The rights guaranteed by this section shall be unalienable. Any restriction on these rights shall be subject to strict scrutiny and the state of Missouri shall be obligated to uphold these rights and shall under no circumstances decline to protect against their infringement. Nothing in this section shall be construed to prevent the general assembly from enacting general laws which limit the rights of convicted violent felons or those adjudicated by a court to be a danger to self or others as result of a mental disorder or mental infirmity."

So as an update about the ammo I posted before. Pay attention to this lot number as I went to the shop that sold me the ammo today to visit with them he showed me where another customer had brought in another box from the same lot with the same issue. I contacted them last week and they sent replacement ammo to me. Stay safe and be mindful of your shooting safety if you choose to run this ammo.

Disappointment struck today just glad that when I am at the range taking target practice I always observe how the gun reacts with new types of ammo. Purchased some 1776 USA ammo maybe a couple weeks ago as it is a lead free composite round and at around $20 for a 50 count box figured why not give it a shot and see. First two rounds went off flawless then as I started to pull the trigger on the third nothing. Noticed that my pistol was jammed. Stopping to clear the jam dropped the magazine out jammed casing falls to the ground and the slide shuts. Then noticed that the jammed round the projectile was broken and the piece was still in the chamber of my 1911. Had I not looked the firearm and the jammed round over prior to restarting it could have been catastrophic. Just a reminder safety should always be practiced when at the range and when your weapon malfunctions check it before you chamber that next round. Needless to say I have contacted the company about the issue. Be careful out there everyone.
