As we look back on our week at 4-H Camp, we want to give a special shout-out to all of the volunteers that make camp a safe and fun experience for all of our happy campers! 😎🏕️🍀 This year, Smith County 4-H was supported by adult leaders Brittany Jones, Luke Magness, Jacob Tipton, summer Extension Intern Courtney Dickens, and our very own Ag Agent Will Herbert. Callie Butler and Keaton Crawford were our Teen Leaders for the week. We are so grateful for all the folks that help make camp happen - especially our crew from Smith County!

Last week, two of our Smith County 4-H’ers, Katelyn Kooken and Luke Chartier, spent the week on the campus of the University of Tennessee Knoxville at Tennessee 4-H Junior High Academic Conference. Luke attended in the Plant Science project area, and Katelyn attended in the Veterinary Science project area. 🌱🐑🔬🐄 At Academic Conference, 4-H’ers get to live out the 4-H slogan - Learn By Doing! 🍀 Check out these cool pics of Luke and Katelyn from the week!

Smith County 4-H is homebound! Parents, our ETA is 10:30. We have had a great week at camp! 🏕️☀️🍀

Last day, best day at 4-H Camp! 🍀

Today, our 4-H’ers had a full day of play! Fishing, swimming, archery, rifles, ziplining, kayaking, crafts, games… Our campers did it all! To top it all off, we ended the night with a movie and a glow dance in the rec hall! 🪩🍿💿

We have had so much fun at camp this week, but we are ready to head back home sweet home to Smith County! 🏕️

The gang’s all here for our last full day of 4-H Camp! ☀️🏕️🍀

4-H Camp Day 3 ✅

Today, our Smith County 4-H’ers got to enjoy all the fun that camp has to offer, including a foam party to end the night! ☀️😎💦

Today was also Smith County’s day to raise and lower flags and clean up the dining hall after meals. It takes all of us pitching in to make camp happen! 🍀

One more full day! We’re gonna make the most of it!

We rounded out Day 2 at 4-H Camp with zipline, fishing, chalk art, and songs, s‘mores, and stories around the campfire! 🔥🍀🎨

Our campers also said thank you and goodbye to volunteer leaders Luke Magness and Courtney Dickens who are headed home in the morning. We are so thankful for all our camp volunteers that make camp a happy and safe experience for every camper!

We can’t wait to do it all again tomorrow! 🍀

Our Smith County campers have been busy so far on Day 2 of 4-H Camp! We have enjoyed early morning cookout, crafts, swimming, ga-ga ball, and more! 🍀
