🌿 Minute Mondays with Dr. Rimes 🌿
Yard work might not feel like a workout... but your body knows the difference. 😅
Before you spend hours pulling weeds, spreading mulch, or mowing the lawn, Dr. Noah Rimes has a few tips to help keep your back, hips, and joints happy. 👇
• Warm up before you get started
• Stay hydrated throughout the day
• Squat down and get low instead of bending at the waist
• Avoid overloading one leg or hip more than the other
• Take breaks and don't try to do it all at once
• Stretch when you're finished
Just like exercising at the gym, yard work puts stress on your muscles and joints. Taking a few minutes to prepare beforehand—and recover afterward—can go a long way in preventing soreness, stiffness, and injury.
🎥 Watch this week's Minute Monday to hear Dr. Rimes share some simple ways to protect your body while tackling your outdoor to-do list.

🎉 Please join us in welcoming Dr. Hailey Mays to our team! 🎉
Many of you may already recognize Hailey from her time with us as a chiropractic intern and CTA. We are excited to celebrate her recent graduation from chiropractic school and officially introduce you to Dr. Hailey Mays!
Originally from Mt. Vernon, Illinois, Dr. Hailey grew up playing sports, especially basketball. She attended Murray State University, where she was originally a pre-veterinary major before discovering her passion for chiropractic care. She later earned her Doctor of Chiropractic degree from Logan University.
When she's not in the office, you'll likely find her outdoors hiking or paddleboarding with her dog, Bree, a German Shepherd/Cattle Dog mix she adopted during her undergraduate years. She's also a proud cat mom to Catniss, a former stray who found her way into Dr. Hailey's life.
Dr. Hailey is passionate about animals, loves learning new facts about them, and brings that same curiosity and compassion into everything she does. What she loves most about chiropractic is helping patients get back to doing the things they love without pain.
If you asked her to describe herself in three words, she'd say: passionate, driven, and caring — and we couldn't agree more!
We're so proud of all that she has accomplished and are excited to have her as part of our team. Be sure to say hello and help us give Dr. Hailey a warm welcome! 💙

Spinal Decompression therapy is a non-surgical procedure that effectively treats disabling low back, neck, radiating leg and arm pain, and headaches by reducing the pressure on spinal discs and facet joints through unloading created by distraction and positioning.
Decompressin therapy is a highly successful treatment for patients suffering from bulging, herniated, degenerative or ruptured discs as well as sciatica, carpal tunnel syndrome, and many failed back surgery cases. This treatment helps patients avoid the risk of aesthesia, surgical complications, and the potential of failed back surgery.

Crack your own neck all the time? You might want to watch this one. 👀
That quick pop may feel good in the moment, but what if it's actually creating bigger problems down the road?
This week, Dr. Noah Rimes is discussing why repeatedly cracking your own neck may not be as harmless as it seems 👇
• Why the areas that "need to pop" are often already hypermobile
• How repeatedly stretching those joints can create instability over time
• Why temporary relief doesn't always mean you're fixing the problem
• What could be causing you to feel the need to crack your neck so often
While self-manipulation may provide short-term relief, it can also contribute to long-term issues when done repeatedly over time, including:
• Degenerative disc disease
• Bulging or herniated discs
• Arthritis and joint degeneration
• Chronic instability in the neck
The bottom line? Short-term relief isn't worth long-term consequences.
Through specific chiropractic adjustments, we focus on correcting the underlying issue rather than repeatedly stressing joints that are already moving too much.
🎥 Watch the video to hear Dr. Rimes explain what's really happening when you crack your own neck and why it matters.
