This weekend if your traveling in the Lebanon area, be aware of lane closures on 40 Eastbound at the 239 Exit for bridge repairs. Heavy congestion is to be expected.

The road going into Hickman near the Post Office has been repaired. Manpower & equipment shortages slowed the progress, but the project is complete.

Severe thunderstorms are expected late this afternoon, through the evening, and into the late night hours. Damaging winds, tornadoes, and large hail will be possible and with heavy downpours. Scattered showers and thunderstorms will move across Middle TN throughout the day today. A line of strong to severe thunderstorms is expected to arrive late this afternoon into the evening hours. Main concern are damaging wind gusts and localized flash flooding during heavy downpours, especially across our northwest. An isolated tornado or two along with small hail is also possible.
