We were happy to partner with Vision Carthage and three of their selected improvements to provide some additional support towards the projects through our Restore My Block program. Thank you to Colors By Shawn as well as the Federal Home Loan Bank of Des Moines who supported our program with OMB Bank. Volunteers from our investors CWEP and Mercy Hospital Carthage helped provide a lot of labor and love on this property.

A new production facility could be the catalyst needed for Carthage's next phase of growth. Thank you to Schreiber Foods for choosing our community for this investment of $267M and creation of 100 new jobs.

Schreiber is investing more than $267 million to expand our process-cheese network by building a new manufacturing facility in Carthage, Missouri. The investment will help us meet growing customer demand while strengthening our ability to deliver the exceptional quality, food safety and service customers depend on.

The facility is expected to open in 2028 and create approximately 100 new jobs. The project will expand our process-cheese production capacity and reinforce our position as the customer-brand leader in the category.

OMB Bank is proud to present the Carthage Economic Development Corporation with a $20,000 grant supporting its Restore My Block Program. Through the program, participating homeowners who invest $2,000 in eligible home improvements may receive a $1,000 reimbursement after completing their projects.

The grant combines $5,000 from OMB with $15,000 from the Federal Home Loan Bank of Des Moines through its Member Impact Fund. We’re proud to support residents working together to strengthen their homes, neighborhoods and community!
