Because science matters! Tellus is a world-class 120,000 square foot museum located in Cartersville, GA just off I-75 at exit 293.

Coming at you this Memorial Day with some of our new minerals!
Both of these beauties are fluorite specimens even though they look quite different. Pure fluorite is colorless, but trace impurities and radiation can alter how the crystals absorb light. Green is often associated with the presence of copper, while purple is associated with a radioactive element like yttrium.
