Beautiful Morning in Downtown Rockmart GA for the 4th Annual Hud’s Heart 5K & Fun Run. An amazing purpose-driven community event to raise awareness for Congenital Heart Defects (CHD) and to honor the life, memory, and lasting legacy of Hud! 🦁 Fantastical Morning in beautiful Dellinger Park - Cartersville, GA for the 5th annual “Roar Run 5K” 🦁🦁 presented by the Bartow County Lions Club. One of the greatest group of Volunteers around All working together in support of the Freedom Braille Trail! The Bartow County Lions Club remains committed to the creation, expansion, and on-going maintenance and financial support for a true gem of Northwest GA in the Freedom Braille Trail and events like today make it all possible! That’s a Wrap! On the 2026 Edition of the Wire2Wire Running Camp held in conjunction with Cartersville Parks & Rec Department. It was a GREAT 3 days with a FANTASTIC GROUP OF ATHLETES! Awesome Final Day today with a combined static-to-dynamic warmup / The “Park Loop” Run, The “Bob the Builder” Relay, Sharks & Minnows (Yes…there is A LOT of Running there!) and “Put out the Fire”!! THANK YOU to all parents and Athletes for (and Coach Leyla) for once again making this a special year and we hope to see many of you back next year!

Day 2 of the 2026 Version of Wire2Wire Running Camp brought us the famous “Track and Field Tuesday”!!!!! GREAT JOB Athletes with “Dynamic Warmups” / Block Starts / Hurdles / Discus / and Shot Put! And thanks “Coach Leyla” for the Hurdles demonstration! (PS Parents: Ask your young athletes to name you the Georgia T&F School Running & Field Events! 😉). See you tomorrow for the “camp run”, 400M Time Trials, and more!
