Hello! We had fun "unearthing" knowledge all about plants during our program with Georgia Highlands College! We learned about the water cycle, made a tabletop greenhouse, painted and colored with raw spinach and more! Thank you so much to Georgia Highlands for a fantastic week of STEM programs and thank you to everyone who came to the library!

Thank you to everyone who lit up Emmie Nelson Library during our Techno Fossils: Illuminating Ancient History. 🌟 We had so much fun! Take a look at the awesome circuits using little bits and how participants explored how light effects the details of objects.

Hello! We had a grand time learning about birds and bird adaptation with Georgia Highlands College yesterday! We dissected owl pellets, looked at different types of beaks, made bird feeders and more! Here's the bird feeders we made in the library trees! Drop in today, Wednesday, 6/10, between 2 - 4 p.m. for a new STEM afternoon! Today, we are learning all about plants!
