When the budget doesn't allow for a fiberglass dash, you can gut the factory dash and get it pretty light, probably less than 5 pounds. Obviously, I'll need to mount my tach, my wideband, oil pressure, transmission temp, and my water temp gauges. I plan to make some plastic inserts to mount them into.
