TEEN PROGRAM: Celebrate Juneteenth!

Join us to learn about the history and significance of Juneteenth! Celebrate and reflect with a guided poetry activity to express your own appreciation for freedom, community, and joy. For ages 13 – 17.
This program is part of LA County Library’s My Brother’s Keeper program and features an MBK Peer Advocate as a co-host and youth mentor. This program is funded in part by the Uchenna Nwosu Foundation.
Parents and guardians: Please be aware that refreshments will be served at this program. A list of ingredients will be available.
