A light to our Community Illuminating in Love and Service the Truth of Jesus Christ

Carson Hope Chapel Community:

Is a foursquare church committed to Sharing the love forgiveness and Life found only in Christ Jesus. We are passionate about loving and serving our community as solid families, kind neighbors and as a place of Hope in an often turbulent life.

As we continue serving our city through our Food Pantry, we’ve made an adjustment to our schedule that will help us care well for both our community and the incredible volunteers who make this ministry possible.

Beginning in June 2026, our Community Food Pantry is now open on the 1st and 3rd Thursday of each month from 9:30 AM–2:00 PM.

This change allows us to steward our team and resources well while continuing to faithfully serve families in our community for the long term. Our heart for our neighbors has not changed, and neither has our commitment to meeting practical needs with the love of Christ.

What Jesus Actually Meant by "Follow Me" | A Biblical Vision of Discipleship | Zion Phillips 06/09/2026

WWJD.

Many of us grew up hearing that phrase: What Would Jesus Do?

While it’s a good question, sometimes it leaves us feeling like we’re constantly falling short.

This Sunday was a beautiful time together filled with encouragement, prayer, and a reminder that Jesus is inviting us into something deeper than simply trying harder.

When Jesus called His first disciples, He didn’t simply invite them to follow a list of rules. He invited them into a way of life:

* Be with Jesus
* Become like Jesus
* Do what Jesus did

The goal of discipleship isn’t trying harder to act like Jesus. The goal is staying close enough to Jesus that His life begins to shape ours.

Maybe the question isn’t just, “What Would Jesus Do?” Maybe the deeper question is: “Who am I becoming?”

If you’re longing for a deeper walk with Jesus, we invite you to step into the journey of discipleship with us.

The Sabbath: God's Gift for the Exhausted 06/01/2026

We live in the most connected, productive, and convenient society in history.

So why are we so exhausted?

This Sunday, we explored God’s gift of Sabbath—not as another rule to follow, but as an invitation to stop striving, trust Him, and rediscover delight in His presence. The Sabbath isn’t about losing a day.
It’s about gaining your life back.

As we head into June, we’re inviting our church family to practice Sabbath together. What might change if you intentionally set aside time each week to stop, rest, delight, and worship?

It was also a beautiful day as a church family as we had the opportunity to pray over and officially commission Shanell Roberts as our Outreach and Operations Coordinator. We’re grateful for her leadership and excited for what God is going to do through her in this next season.

Church Family Update ❤️

We are so excited to officially announce Shanell Roberts as our new Outreach & Operations Coordinator! From the very beginning, it has been clear that God’s hand is on Shanell’s life, and we truly believe He is going to move powerfully through her — not only within our church family, but throughout our community as well.

Shanell brings wisdom, heart, leadership, and a deep love for people, and we are beyond grateful to welcome her into this role. We know this is only the beginning of what God has in store.

Be sure to join us this Sunday as we pray over Shanell, celebrate this new season, and support her as she steps into all God is calling her to. We can’t wait to see what’s ahead! 🙌

The Disciples Did THIS Before the Holy Spirit Came | Ashton Fish 05/27/2026

What a powerful Pentecost Sunday ❤️‍🔥

We’re so thankful for the presence of God that filled the room as Pastor Ashton shared on what the disciples did while they waited on the Holy Spirit — they prayed, they stayed, and they obeyed. Such a timely reminder for the Church today.

It was also such a blessing to pray over Tim as he steps into a new season of ministry. We love you, Tim, and we’re grateful for your faithfulness, heart, and leadership. Excited for all God has ahead 🙏

This entire message is now live on YouTube! Go watch, share it with someone, and let us know what impacted you most.

Church Family Update ❤️

This Sunday is going to be a very special morning at Carson Hope Church.

As many of you know, Tim has faithfully led our worship ministry with so much heart, humility, and dedication over the years. This Sunday, we will be praying over him as he steps into a season of rest from the worship leader position. We would love for our church family to come surround Tim with encouragement, love, and prayer as we bless him together as a community.

We also believe this Pentecost Sunday is going to be a powerful time together as we seek the presence of the Holy Spirit and gather expectantly as a church family.

Join us this Sunday at 10AM at Carson Hope Church.

Come expectant.
Come ready to pray.
Come ready to encounter God together

Sunday was powerful! The Holy Spirit moved in such a deep and personal way as we continued through the parable of the ten virgins in Matthew 25.

We talked about waiting — the kind of waiting that exposes what’s really in our hearts. Waiting for healing. Waiting for breakthrough. Waiting for direction. Waiting for promises. Waiting for Jesus.

So often we view waiting as punishment, but throughout Scripture, God uses waiting as formation. The delay of the bridegroom in Matthew 25 wasn’t proof that he forgot them — it revealed who had oil.

The presence of God met us so strongly as we surrendered disappointment, anxiety, control, fear, and unmet expectations back to Jesus. We were reminded that God is not absent in the waiting. He is forming us in it.

“Waiting is not punishment. It is purification, if we allow it to be.”

KEEP WATCH | What Jesus Really Meant About the End Times | Zion Phillips 05/13/2026

What a powerful Sunday together 🤍

This week we leaned into Jesus’ parable of the ten virgins in Matthew 25 and talked about what it really means to “keep watch.” Not living in fear. Not obsessing over predictions. But cultivating oil — intimacy with God, spiritual maturity, and lives that stay attentive to His presence.

One of the biggest reminders for our church this week was this:The call of Jesus is not paranoia. It is preparedness.

We truly believe God is inviting us deeper as a community in this season — deeper into prayer, deeper into surrender, deeper into His presence. Not just outward Christianity, but real intimacy with Jesus in the secret place.

So grateful for every conversation, prayer, and moment we shared together this Sunday. We love this church family so much 🕊️

What an incredible day serving our community! ❤️

Today’s food drive was such a beautiful reminder of what happens when people come together to share the love of Jesus in a tangible way. We were able to bless so many families with food, encouragement, and community, and our prayer is always that people would encounter the power of Jesus’ love through every conversation, every act of kindness, and every moment together.

Ahead of Mother’s Day, we also had the joy of giving flowers to the moms in our community 🌸 Seeing the smiles, hugs, and meaningful conversations made the day even more special.

Thank you to all of our amazing volunteers who gave their time and served with such love and joy today. We’re so grateful for each of you!

We will not have a food drive next week, so we’ll see everyone again on May 21 ❤️
